Do the following cheats in the Original Game and on the Normal skill setting.

Alternate Character Outfits: Start a new game as Leon or Claire, and make it to the precinct without picking up any items. Once in the precinct, load up on ammo and head back outside. Go down the stairs and shoot the zombie Brad-he's tough, so it takes about 20 shots to destroy him. After he's down, search his corpse to Žnd the special key. The key opens one of the lockers in the darkroom with different clothes for Leon and Claire as well as a new pistol for Claire.

Submachine Gun and Rocket Launcher with Unlimited Ammo and "4th Survivor" (Hunk) Mini-Game: In either character's second scenario, finish the game in under two-and-a-half hours. During the game, save only once and use no first-aid spray. You should get an "A" ranking. After the end credits and the ranking screen, a new screen appears describing your award: a submachine gun and a rocket launcher-both loaded with unlimited ammo. Look in any chest for the weapons. Following the "Your Reward" screen is another screen that says, "You can play another scenario if you make a new save data." Save the new data. When you load the data, you can play a hidden mini-game called "4th Survivor." In this mission, you must guide an Umbrella S.W.A.T. member from the sewers to the roof of the police precinct.

"The Survivor" (Tofu) Mini-Game: Play through the game six times using the consecutively saved data from each character, and unlock the hidden "4th Survivor" (Hunk) mini-game along the way (see previous cheat). After the end credits and the ranking screen of the sixth game scroll by, a new screen appears that says, "You can play another scenario if you make a new save data." Save the new data. When you load the data, you can play another hidden mini-game called "The Survivor." In this mission you must guide a giant piece of tofu from the sewers to the roof of the police precinct. Poor Tofu is armed only with a knife.

Rocket Launcher and Unlimited Ammo, Easy Arrange Mode, Colt Python and Unlimited Ammo, and Different Character Outfits

Rocket Launcher and Unlimited Ammo: Finish the Original or Arrange game as Chris or Jill in under three hours. After the credits roll, a rocket fire's into the air. Save the game to a memory card. Start a new game using that data off the memory card. When you check your character's inventory, there is a new weapon-the all-powerful rocket launcher.

Easy Arrange Mode: At the title screen, start a New Game, and at the following screen, highlight Arrange, press Right until the word turns green, and press Start. During the game you will pick up double ammo and ink ribbons.

Colt Python and Unlimited Ammo: Finish the Arrange game as either Jill or Chris and save their S.T.A.R.S. colleagues. In Jill's scenario, save Barry and Chris; in Chris's scenario, save Rebecca and Jill. Watch the ending, then save the data to a memory card. Start a new game using the saved data and when you check the character inventory, you'll Žnd a Colt Python with unlimited ammo.

Different Character Outfits: In the Original Game mode, Žnish the game and rescue your buddies in the process (in Jill's scenario, save Barry and Chris; in Chris's scenario, save Rebecca and Jill). After the credit sequence, a screen appears that says "You've Got the Special Key." Then save the game. Start the game you just saved, and when you go into the room with the giant mirror (you enter this room from the main hallway), you can unlock the door in the back. Now you can change your characters' clothes.

More Ammo in the Advanced Game and Easy Resident Evil 2 Demo

More Ammo in the Advanced Game: At the game-select screen, highlight Advanced, and press and hold Right until the word turns green. Start the game, and each time you pick up a clip, you'll get 30 bullets instead of 15.

Easy Resident Evil 2 Demo: At the title screen, highlight New Game, and press and hold Right until two hidden skill settings, Normal and Rookie, appear.
